A Sleep Over at Grandma's and Grandpa's House

On Thursday, July 23, Daniel, Benjamin and Ethan went to Grandma's and Grandpa's house for a two night sleep over.  They had a great time:  going out to eat together, watching movies, exploring Lake Pleasant and sleeping in sleeping bags.  It was a great time and everyone is looking forward to the next over-night visit.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa!

A Night of Painting

On Wednesday night, July 22, the Keller boys became artists!  The week before, they make beautiful sculptures out of clay and on this night, they painted them!  It was a lot of fun and the boys loved getting creative with color and design!  And, the art work they created is all for a good cause--because it will be sold at the Tapestry of the Desert 1st Annual Art Show and Benefit!

A New School Year!

Benjamin is ready to have a great 1st grade year!  Last year in Kindergarten, he became a super reader and he will continue to read a lot this year!  In math, he will learn double digit addition and subtraction and in history, we will study both world wars and modern history.  The Keller Academy is adding science to the curriculum, studying flying creatures!  When asked what he is most excited about doing this year in school, Benjamin didn't hesitate when answering, "Handwriting!"  What a great year it will be!
